If ya got the time, here is a Pod Cast I was on that gives a glimps of who I am within the first few minutes;

The intention of my blog is to use every “mode of transportation” available to me as a means to tell as many as will listen/read of the good news of Jesus Christ.

It wasn’t until recently that i realized thst even though I am a shutin, wheelchair bound, unable to drive myself i can still reachout to a wide range of people

Believers and nonbelievers, the internet can be a very helpful vehicle to convey this good news i have heard and accepted myself.

In my past i’ve used records (vinyl) , i’ve used cassettes , i’ve used a typewriter, i’ve used the streets, i’ve used a cup of coffee, i’ve used a meal; soup and soap, and so by all possible means that I might tell others of salvation i now blog also.

For those that have ears, may they hear, for those that have eyes may they read and see.

The Pleasure of Proclaiming-

1 Co 9:16-23

16 If I proclaim the Message, it’s not to get something out of it for myself. I’m compelled to do it, and doomed if I don’t!

17 If this was my own idea of just another way to make a living, I’d expect some pay. But since it’s not my idea but something solemnly entrusted to me, why would I expect to get paid?

18 So am I getting anything out of it? Yes, as a matter of fact: the pleasure of proclaiming the Message at no cost to you. You don’t even have to pay my expenses!

19 Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people:

20 religious, nonreligious,

21 meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists,

22 the defeated, the demoralized – whoever. I didn’t take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ – but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I’ve become just about every sort of servant there is in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life.

23 I did all this because of the Message. I didn’t just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it!

SO, being “in on it” for “The Pleasure of proclaiming”- to reach out to the

  • religious,
  • nonreligious,
  • meticulous
  • moralists,
  • loose-living immoralists,
  • the defeated,
  • the demoralized
  • – whoever.

I am one of The Messiah’s Misfits.

When I started this blog I worked at The Salvation Army of Saint Augustine, Florida

They offer opportunities for “Community Care” visits, projects and more.

Unfortunately I’ve become handicapped since 2015 and now find myself as one of the least of these. As the one who did a lot of visitation, I’m now the one shutin.

I was formerly a drummer now i am just an Instrument.
