Take Me By The Hand, Friend.

Jesus said this before He sent the Holy Spirit.
Just as God the Father sent God the Son so also the Son sent the Spirit.
Now we have HIS WRITTEN WORD and the Holy Spirit. He (The Word) is right in front of us & may even live in us.
Garrenteed trouble but will overcome.
Accepting
His invitation & inviting Him into out lives….that is how HE gives us peace while we are alive & the ability to rest in peace for all eternity.

My mental health goes a little deeper, like the interior of a building.
However, my soul is the foundation of this house, this temple.
Construction can always be done on the exterior and renovation to the inside but the foundation can not and will not be touched.

Daniel 1 & 2 is the account of a troubled King (leader) and a young man named Daniel.
What equipped Daniel to help his leader was Daniel’s faith, belief, 2 way communication with God which all came (stemmed) from Dan’s commitment to God.
No one & nothing else can guide, comfort & equip us like The One True God.
The mind blowing reality is that as you develop some type of segway of communication & commitment with Him He enters into our minds, thoughts & soul.
When we allow, by freewill, to allow Him to do this a change comes over us & we experience things:
way beyond what we knew before. Way beyond what anyone else can offer.
Way beyond anything else.
Way beyond us.

Have you ever really looked & considered for yourself who He really is, or just taken the account of someone you’ve seen or heard?

1.) Observe (ask what does it say)
2.) Interpret (what’s it mean)
3.) Apply (what’s it mean to me)

You think YOUR job sucks dirt?
I know a young person who graduated from an advanced “IB” program in high school who went on to graduate from college a year before/above the average students.
They went on with a degree in teaching straight into a teaching job, fresh out of college.
On their summer break this individual went over to Africa to teach, returning to the United states of America to once again jump back into teaching….

If you don’t get it you will want to read this post.
My son, Alexx, shared some thoughts on:
1 Thessalonians 2:8
” we loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.”
It is a key part of living a Christ-like life to spread your understanding to others but I takes a lot more then reading people the bible to truly spead God’s Good News.
I think we have all met that person that is ‘too Christian’, sure they have good intentions, but let’s be honest they are hard to be around.
This is because they aren’t sharing their personal walk with you but just sharing God with you.
Dont get me wrong there is a lot of good in sharing God but a true Christ-like life applies God to reality.
Jesus was always personable and made a point of being a friend before being a preacher.
We need to share the Good News but we also need to share the good life it has granted us.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
