Angel of Light Exposed

I love when God reveals things to me, & others in Christ, through modern means.

My whole blog is about the different modes of transportation that God uses to reach, touch, us.

Years ago, when I was a teen, a friend in Christ paralleled Spiderman with how Peter Parker (a fictional character) is effected by the bite of a spider and how The Holy Spirit effects us when we accept Christ in our life.

More recent as I watched the background of fictional characters and their abilities to shape shift. I immediately thought of how the devil disguises himself as an angel of light…

The true apostle Paul wrote about this:

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬15 ESV

Fictional writings & movies can be so entertaining and at the same time give us great metaphors and have awesome allegorical meaning.

To me the real horror of the devil & his demons isn’t when I see a person praticing evil out right, deliberately & obviously, it is when a pastor or people that appear to be part of the church, the body of Christ, but are really a slave to sin and used by the devil himself rather than used by The Lord Jesus Christ.

May we not be naive in our daily walk with Christ. My prayer is that we’ll recognize satan even when he tries to disguise himself.

I recall a song called “Angel of Light” by Petra  on this theme:

The following video is what inspired me to write this:

“Watch This Before You See Captain Marvel” on YouTube:

May Christ marvel you and live vicariously through you.
