The Hype of Hypocrisy

Link to: God Action Series

Sin is sin.

What does a Sinner look like?

Sinner be like “God save me from yo children!”

Hypocrite be like…”What is wrong with those sinners?” While forcing their face into a KJV Bible at the bottom of a bucket of water.

Commical but sad and true.

It is actually harder for me to love people who claim the name of Christ but live like the devil or use the name of Jesus to condemn than it is for me to,

“love the nasty dirty drugged up drunk who is pimping themselves out to sell their body for pornographic use while eating something stolen that they took off a guy they murderef after sleep with that person’s spouse that they raped.”

If I am going to truly be Christ-like and not hypocritical that means I can’t he hating on even the hypocritical.

Jesus Christ calls me to love, love, love everyone.

That doesn’t mean I conform to the same behaviour or promote it & condone it but obviously I am called by Christ to love everyone, hypocrites included.

You hear, “hate the sin but love the sinner.” However, I see people hating sin and the sinner who is committing the sin. Showing such disapproval that it spills over and translated to sinners say, “We hate you and what you’re doing.”

God’s laying on my heart to just love. Love everyone & not judge or condemn anyone. The Bible verses that are thrown around by many are directed to believers (those who already believe). The standards that are listed and preached by Jesus Christ & carried on by The Apostle Paul & the early body of Christ are for those who willingly dedicate their life to “The Way” (Christ’s lifestyle) and yet many people claiming to be “Christians” tend to force their standards on others rather than loving those individuals just as they are and just as Christ loved them, before they asked Jesus into their hearts & were forgiven for their own sinful ways.

It’s easy to get caught up in philosophy and take on a mob mentality.

For me it is easy to hate those who are like that; however, then I am guilty of sin too.

So, I will continually strive to simply not be misunderstood and

Love God, Hate Sin and Love God, Love The Sinner.

Scripture: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

We write this to make our JOY complete.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.  If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:1‭-‬10 NIV

My dear children, you come from God and belong to God. You have already won a big victory over those false teachers, for the Spirit in you is far stronger than anything in the world. These people belong to the Christ-denying world. They talk the world’s language and the world eats it up. But we come from God and belong to God. Anyone who knows God understands us and listens. The person who has nothing to do with God will, of course, not listen to us. This is another test for telling the Spirit of Truth from the spirit of deception. 1 John 4:4‭-‬6 MSG

You can refute God and His ways and teaching but nothing can convince me that He is not real and not wanting to live in me and I will let Him rule in me, not myself, not others.

Others will know He lives in me only by seeing The Fruit that only He can produce and out of all that fruit (singular in nature) may others see love.

Live love, beetle

Love God Hate Sin & remember hating others is sin:

We are One In The Spirit

Scripture: No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

1 John 3:9‭-‬10‭, ‬15‭, ‬18‭-‬20‭, ‬23‭-‬24 NIV

Sin is sin & we are all in need of The Saviour. No one is better than anyone else and the only thing that makes anyone’s future better off is God’s Righteousness not self-righteousness.

My wife gave me a final quote that ties in well with all of this -from the movie “Meet Me In St. Louis”

“A lie is a lie and dressed in white don’t help it.”

Song: “God Forgive Us” by For King and Country with intro. explaining our need for this song to be sung as a prayer asking God to start with us. Forgive us & help us forgive others.

As you forgive you will be forgiven.
