Permanent Residence

God is love.

When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us.

This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s.

There is no room in love for fear.

Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.
1 John 4:17‭-‬18 MSG

As I continue to grow in a  relationship with Christ I gain more & more momentum, less fear & concern for what my future may hold. My standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. I give God the run of the houselove becomes at home and mature in me.

Knowing the love He gives me, and all of us, eases the conflicts & struggling I encounter in this mucked up world.

How good it is to know that, in Christ, we have all eternity and for now, well, for now I’ll let Him work His love in me and through me.

Dr. Charles Stanley & In Touch Ministries  gave a short devoted thought about the process of Sanctification.
A life of Holiness  (sanctification) is just that, a process and it all begins when we let God move in & take charge of of our homes (our hearts).

Making Christ at home in me assures me that He will clean up this old man and  someday I’ll dwell in His eternal home for me.

In Christ, Beetle
