Psalm 37 goes into great detail as the Psalmist is struggling with why ungodly people seem to thrive and why good godly people struggle so much, striving to just survive.
It’s no secret that bad things happen to good people and no matter how strong a person’s faith in God and how strong their spiritual relationship is with Christ they are still human and with wrestle with the flesh. No one is immune to Physical and mental health illness.
This post takes a closer look at Psalms 73:21-26 NLT
Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was so foolish and ignorant— I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.
Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
I desire you more than anything on earth.
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
Psalms 73:21-26 NLT
His love remains the same.
We can hold onto the salvation He gives. It is boundless and will out last any temporary pain and suffering we encounter in this world.
In Christ, Beetle
