Can’t Be What You Don’t Know

“Can’t be what you don’t know.” I don’t even know if that is a proper sentence but that is what came to my mind as I read the verse of the day,

“As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!” Psalms 119:7 NLT

I’m still learning that my journey with God, getting to know my Creator & Savior is more like falling in love than just something to believe in and more about “being” than about “doing”.

Rather than a bunch of rules, regulations & ridged legalism it’s about a relationship in which I not only desire to please Him but He lovingly teaches me how to, as well as changes me from the inside out so that I can.

You’re blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God .

You’re blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him.

That’s right—you don’t go off on your own; you👉 walk👈 straight along the road he set.

My prayer (along with the Psalmist)  You, God , prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it.

Oh, that my 👉steps 👈might be steady, keeping to the course you set; Then I’d never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel.

I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways. I’m going to do what you tell me to do; don’t ever 👉walk👈 off and leave me. Psalm 119:1‭-‬8 MSG

As I seek God He reveals Himself to me. He changes my perception and gives me hope beyond all that I know in this world.

I seek Him by reading & studying His Word as well as participating in a👉 2 way conversations with Him.👈

In Christ, Beetle
