this really got me thinking about my actions, my choices, decisions and  God’s will.

I love the song “Freewill” by Rush. There is a line in the lyrics that says,

If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
-Drummer Neil Peart

I’m learning more & more to seek God’s will & make choices according to what He would want, what & how I can bring Glory to His name.

At this same time I recognize how I fall short of his glory & always will, i am still human, and yet He is a Sovereign God in control  of everything,  everyone,  everywhere,  so all I need to do is walk with Him, hold His hand and trust He will lead me on.

I believe He is in contol, even of the wicked, i have nothing to fear, nothing that i have to “find out”.

Oh how big He is, yet man is in a box & contain God within that same box (the flesh) all too often.

It is time to let GOD out of our little box. He is beyond what we can fully conceive.

So, I don’t know what it looks like for you, holding His hand & walkin’ with Him, but I know for me it’s a matter of handing my inside (my soul/heart) over to Him, letting Him come in and work on & with me from the inside out.

While all along  i still accept & understand,

He is not trapped here on earth in the same shell, He is above & beyond that and He will rescue me from this temporary body & life on earth.

I can’t explain it, you have to expiriance it, I highly recommend you talk & listen to Him, give Him a try.

How big is He, do we let Him be as big as He really is or keep Him contained to a ‘box’ that we can control & comprehend ?

He doesn’t want us to have some superstitious idea of Him.

He wants to supernaturally come into our lives, heart, mind, Spirit.

In the beginning of the flick, Link to Movie, “Mr. Nobody”,  They show a pigeon in a box with a potato chip hanging just out of reach. The pigeon wants to reach it & learns to move a little box that is also in the room. He moves the box OVER so it is under the chip & uses it as a step to reach the chip.

Then, they show a controlled feeding door. The door is opened by the pigeon tapping a lever (in the box) that opens the door.

However when they open the door randomly, exposing the food, the pigeon is confused on how to open the door.

Wanting to be in control and still believing in his ability to open the door to eat, the pigeon tries all kinds of movements to open the door-

If the pigeon is flapping its wings when the door opens it thinks that is the way to open the door, it becomes superstitious.

How often this happens to humans, we think if we do some ritual & get some type of feeling or self gratification from it we keep doing it thinking that is what we need to keep doing.

God is not a God of conditions & superstitious acts that will get us into a relationship with Him or to live with Him in eternity

The God of the Bible gives unconditionally.

His grace & mercy is what we need, it is a gift, not gained by anything we could ever do.

He wants a relationship not a religious obligation or some superstitious behavior.

He requires us to simply believe, accept, acknowledge and trust Him.

He is NOT taking Sunday School attendance or church records.

Whether you attend or not He is the same.

I am not sure that many people understand this concept & i see too many people not only trying to do something that they think will make them right with God they also force those things, those actions, on others, thinking that is the way of Salvation.

Over emphasis on attendance or living according to someone else’s expectations & requirements is not going to matter to God.

He wants each of us to respond to Him personally not through someone or something else.

Food for thought,
Beetle

✴💢💥EXTRAS 💥💢✴
The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.
Proverbs 16:4 NLT

Faith without works is dead but He cherishes a relationship with Him over religious obligation.

We are to be the Church not just go to a Church.

🙏My prayer is that this Easter The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead will also WAKE US UP, we have GOT to wake up and let Him be alive in us & let “Church” be more then a place we gather at…

He is beyond those 4 walls and He is outside those doors.

  1. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

  2. So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you:

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.

Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.

Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.

Instead, fix your attention on God.

You’ll be changed from the inside out.

Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it.

Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity,
God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
