4 agreement details by DON MIGUEL RUIZ:
Be impeccable with your word
- speak with integrity
- Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others
- Use the power of the word in the direction of the truth and love
Don’t take anything personally
- Nothing others do is because of you.
- What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.
- When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others you won’t be a victim of needless suffering
Don’t make assumptions
- Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want
- Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.
- With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Always do your best
- Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick
- Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse and regret.
……………………….there may be more to this but this is all i had. A Friend gave me a book awhile back by Don Miguel Ruiz. i don’t recall the name of the book. i am very sorry but Don doesn’t have all the answers, God does, so let HIM use music, my blog, info. from Don and more
as a mode of transportation for what you need as tools and fertilizer to grow.
It all really starts with acceptance (<—click here for a little more).

-Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse and regrat.
I am working through my best being extremely different because of my health.
THE SALVATION ARMY MISSION is simplified for me in two little thing
1.) PReach The Gospel Of Jesus Christ.
2.) Meet Human Needs Without Discrimination.
I have known since Christ came into my life that preaching is much more than standing behind a pulpit Sunday Morning. We preach with the way will live, our daily actions say more than words can ever say.
“DO ALL YOU CAN TO PREACH THE GOSPEL AND IF NECESSARY USE WORDS.” ~ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI
By “meeting Human needs” we are preaching as well, however, meeting human needs WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION is so hard in this day and age of over evaluation and qualifications. We are or can so easily be under the law once again, like The Apostle Paul warns us of. Not that i am encouraging anyone to break the law but we do see Apostles and true ‘followers of Jesus’ going to jail. We do see Paul telling Jews, you don’t need to require and force the gentiles to be circumcised in order to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, accept His Holy Spirit and receive Salvation. If there is anything preventing us from preaching the gospel by simply meeting the needs of others we must remove those hurdles, barricades, stipulations, even if it affects the funding coming in to do such things. Other wise, what are we truly doing? Are we fulfilling our purpose and mission? Let’s let the Red Cross and all the other amazing agencies do what they do so well, without Christ but may WE (ARMY OF SALVATION) stay true to the gospel and true to our mission statement and put it into action the best we can. “Doing the most good to the most people in the most need.” I can personally say, i am trying to do my best in this area even with my physical limitations. I am not an officer, i am just a soldier and i will be a soldier and do my best regardless of my conditions as long as we stick with our mission but i am ready to turn in my uniform if we are not going to fulfill our mission the best we can.
The Holy Spirit is really working on me and helping me please Him more and more, it is all about my relationship maturing and developing and as I learn what makes Him smile others are either smiling too or they just don’t get it.
Thank you, everyone who is lifting me up before the Father in prayer and to all those who are putting prayer into action and checking on my wife’s needs that i can not meet right now. Those who pray but also cut my grass, help bring in the mail and may drive me to Physical Therapy when the surgery is over and i am recovering. Although i don’t like visitors when i am in the hospital and home recovering i do welcome any help you can give Rhonda, for she is part of me. YOU are truly part of The Body of Christ, you’re TRULY family and i want you to KNOW how much i appreciate it.
In Christ Forever,
beetle
