MY son sent me a devotional thought the night after i wrote this post, emphasising giving out all to God who has given us HIS all:
Malachi 1:9 says “Go ahead, beg God to be merciful to you! But when you bring that kind of offering, why should He show you any favor at all?” asks the Lord of heaven’s armies. To often we give God as little of ourselves as we can without feeling stingy and then ask for His all in return. Now, our God is so amazing, so loving, that He does anyways. He gives His all even to those who don’t give Him any. This should be all the more reason to give all that we possibly can and the best of it yet we don’t as if what we have isn’t God’s already given to us by his grace.
