Anxious much?

Philippians 4:6-9 NAS

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication withthanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

7 And the peace ofGod, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and yourminds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finallybrethrenwhatever is truewhatever ishonorablewhatever is rightwhatever is purewhatever is lovelywhateveris of good reputeif there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

9 The things you have learned and received andheard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

When you click on the word anxious above, it will take you to the original translation of that word.

I think the Lord will speak to you as He did me as you read and consider what anxiety is, if you have it and if you too need the Lord to lift that off of you.

Either worry or pray but don’t do both.

Consider once again just the first few line of this passage. Look here Phil 4:6-7 from the message translation:

6 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
7 Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Notice it uses the word displace, not replace. He can & will delete our worries, we just need to let go.
